I have to share this cocktail because I love it so much. My cocktail-shaking muse, Megan, first made this for me from a recipe she found in Gourmet and later we tasted a similar version at The Modern, which swaps the Bourbon for Rye and also adds Fee Brother’s Grapefruit Bitters. So good.

The Easterner
